Common use of Force Account Clause in Contracts

Force Account. Works which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing US$1,200,000 equivalent or less in the aggregate, may, with the Bank’s prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.

Works which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing US$1,200,000 $10,000 equivalent or less in the aggregate, may, with the Bank’s Administrator's prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.

Works which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing US$1,200,000 equivalent or less in the aggregateup to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,200,000, may, with the Bank’s Association's prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.

Works In case of emergencies or in order to complete unfinished works, works which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing US$1,200,000 are estimated to cost $500,000 equivalent or less in the aggregate, may, with the Bank’s Association's prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.
