FORESTHILL MANDATORY BASIC SERVICE FEES Sample Clauses
The FORESTHILL MANDATORY BASIC SERVICE FEES clause establishes the requirement for customers or users to pay certain baseline fees for essential services provided by Foresthill. Typically, this clause outlines which services are considered basic—such as water, waste management, or maintenance—and specifies that these fees are compulsory, regardless of the level of service usage. Its core function is to ensure consistent funding for the maintenance and operation of fundamental services, thereby preventing shortfalls that could arise if fees were only collected on a voluntary or usage-based basis.
FORESTHILL MANDATORY BASIC SERVICE FEES. All developed parcels on the Foresthill Divide, as shown on Exhibit E (the “Foresthill Mandatory Basic Service Fee Area”), are subject to the Foresthill Mandatory Basic Service Fee as set forth in Exhibit B. Payment of the Foresthill Mandatory Basic Service Fee allows Foresthill customers full access to the Foresthill Transfer Station during all approved hours with no gate charge for Municipal Solid Waste, wood waste and green waste generated on the subject parcel. Owners of developed commercial property are allowed to dispose of one (1) yard of Solid Waste per month without an additional gate fee. Additional waste will be accepted from commercial customers at the rate set forth in Exhibit B. Residential and commercial customers are limited to the disposal of four (4) car or truck tires per month free of charge. Fees for additional tires are set forth in Exhibit B. All customers must also pay the rate set forth in Exhibit B for chlorofluorocarbon containing appliances, cathode ray tubes and television sets. Owners of developed residential or commercial property in the Foresthill Mandatory Basic Service Fee Area must either pay the Mandatory Basic Service Fee or elect to subscribe for curbside collection services in lieu of payment of the Mandatory Basic Service fee. All the foregoing fees and rates shall be adjusted from time to time in accordance with this Agreement.
