Common use of Formal Credit Clause in Contracts

Formal Credit. 1. Formal credit for in-service courses or workshops which are offered, upon recommendation of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, by the White Plains Public Schools will be one point for each fifteen hours of attendance plus required readings and special activities. A teacher may receive one informal point, however, if he/she attends thirty six clock hours of instruction and does not meet the other requirements, but he/she may not receive more than two such informal points in a school year.
