Free Assignability Clause Samples

The Free Assignability clause allows one or both parties to transfer their rights and obligations under the contract to another party without needing the other party’s consent. In practice, this means that if a company sells its business or wants to delegate its contractual duties, it can do so freely, and the new party steps into its place under the agreement. This clause is particularly useful for providing flexibility and facilitating business transactions, as it removes barriers to assignment and ensures that contractual rights can be transferred without delay or negotiation.
