Free Software. ‌ Free software means software that is offered under what are generally recognised to be free software licences. If free software is to be used in connection with the deliverables, the Contractor shall prepare an overview of the relevant free software. The overview shall be included as a separate chapter in Appendix 2. Copies of the applicable licence terms and conditions for the relevant free software shall be appended in Appendix 10. The Contractor shall ensure that no free software is being used under licence terms that are incompatible with the requirements applicable to the deliverables, or incompatible with the licence terms governing other software that forms part of the deliverables. The Contractor shall only use free software that does not, based on a sound assessment on the part of the Contractor, infringe third-party rights, and that is offered under generally recognised licences for free software. As regards the parts of the deliverables that are based on free software, including customisations and further developments of the free software, the Customer shall be granted the rights that are necessary to distribute the results further under the relevant free software licence or under a compatible free software licence if this is stipulated in Appendix 1. The rights include access to source code, with associated specifications and documentation.

Free Software. “Free Software” means Software that is provided to You without additional charge (e.g., scripts that enable customer installation; code that enables You to monitor Your use of Dell products; etc.). You may only use Free Software on or with equipment or in the operating environments for which Dell has designed that Free Software to operate. Licensor may terminate any license to Free Software at any time in its sole discretion. You may not transfer Free Software to anyone else.
Free Software. 10.7.1 General provisions pertaining to free software Free software means software that is offered under what are generally recognised to be free software licences. A free software licence permits, for example, the Customer to use the software for any purpose and on any scale, and grants access to the source code of and documentation on the software, the right to examine and change the software, to make copies of the software and to make changes and improvements to the software available to the general public. Free Software. Exasol may make certain Software available for license without charge, and such Free Software may have limited features, functions, or other limitations of any kind. Subject to Customer’s compliance with this Agreement, Exasol grants to Customer a revocable, nonexclusive, worldwide, nontransferable, nonsublicensable license during the applicable Term to install and use the Free Software within the Licensed Capacity solely for Customer’s Internal Business Purposes. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Exasol does not provide maintenance (Section 8), warranty (Section 14), or indemnification (Section 17) with respect to Free Software.
Free Software. “Free Software” means any software that is distributed together with the Software as freeware, shareware, open source software or under or pursuant to similar licensing or distribution models. Free Software which is licensed and distributed pursuant to the associated license that accompanies it may be distributed with Hardware and/or Software. If any Free Software licenses require that Entrust provide rights to use, copy or modify Free Software that are broader than the rights granted in this Plan, then such rights will take precedence over any rights and restrictions in this Plan. If the source code for any Free Software is not provided with the Software and the associated license requires that such source code be made available, then upon request within a reasonable period of time, and for a fee that will not exceed Entrust’s costs associated with the shipping of such source code, Entrust will provide a copy of such source code to You.
Free Software. Exalens may from time to time offer a certain Software available for license without charge, having limited features, functionality, or other restricted characteristics. Subject to Customer’s compliance with this Agreement, Exalens grants to the Customer a non-exclusive, non- transferable, non-sublicensable license during the applicable Subscription Term to install and use the Free Software. This license is solely granted for the Customer’s internal Business Purpose, and may not be used independently or in combination with any third-party software where either Customer nor its Affiliates use the Offering (or any part thereof) as a commercial product or for the benefit of an unaffiliated third party. Exalens reserves the right revoke access, license, or otherwise availability to all Free Software, without prior notice, for any reason. In this case, Exalens does not provide warranty (Section 9), or indemnification (Section 13).

Free Software. IF LICENSOR PROVIDES LICENSEE WITH ANY LICENSED SOFTWARE FREE-OFCHARGE OR UNDER AN EVALUATION LICENSE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO LICENSEE, ITS CUSTOMERS, OR ANY THIRD PARTIES CAUSED BY THE LICENSED SOFTWARE THAT IT MAKES AVAILABLE TO LICENSEE.
Free Software. This Product may include some software programs that are licensed (or sublicensed) to the user under the GNU General Public License (GPL) or other similar software licenses, which among other rights, permit the user to copy, modify and redistribute certain programs, or portions thereof, and have access to the source code. The GPL requires that for any software covered under the GPL, which is distributed to someone in an executable binary format that the source code also be made available to those users. For any such software, the source code is made available in a designated directory created by installation of the Product or designated internet page. If any Free Software licenses require that ThreatModeler provide rights to use, copy or modify a software program that are broader than the rights granted in this agreement, then such rights shall take precedence over the rights and restrictions herein.
