Common use of Freedom to Teach Clause in Contracts

Freedom to Teach. 14-2-1 It shall be the duty of all Educators of the District to teach facts as they interpret them, except that during the school day Educators shall not advocate or in any way proselyte for or in the interest of any religious creed or any political party, nor shall any Educator speak disparagingly of any religious or political organization or of religious or political beliefs, held by students. During the school day, Educators shall not solicit support for any candidate on a political ticket, any candidate seeking office at a public election.
