FTE or Above. Positions at or above 0.50 FTE accrue leave. When there are breaks during the school year and for the summer months, the employee will use accrued vacation leave or will be placed on leave without pay if no vacation leave is available. If the employee is on unpaid leave for more than ten (10) workdays within a calendar month, the County will adjust their anniversary date by one month. If the employee is on unpaid leave for a length of time that affects medical and dental benefits, the employee will contact Benefits to discuss options.
