Fulfilling Charter Terms Clause Samples
The 'Fulfilling Charter Terms' clause sets out the obligations of the parties to adhere to all the conditions and requirements specified in a charter agreement. This typically includes ensuring that the vessel, crew, and cargo operations comply with agreed schedules, performance standards, and legal requirements throughout the charter period. For example, the shipowner must provide a seaworthy vessel, while the charterer must load and discharge cargo within the agreed timeframes. The core function of this clause is to ensure that both parties clearly understand and meet their respective responsibilities, thereby minimizing disputes and promoting smooth execution of the charter.
