Common use of Funding cost Clause in Contracts

Funding cost. an amount sufficient to indemnify such Paying Agent against any cost, loss or expense which it incurs as a result of making such payment and not receiving reimbursement of such amount; provided, however, that any payment made under sub-clause 7.5.1 (Reimbursement by Issuer - Unfunded amount) shall satisfy pro tanto the Issuer’s obligations under Clause 6.1 (Issuer to pay Fiscal Agent).
