At which point, if necessary, the parties agree to permanently amend the Support Worker wage scale for the remaining term of the CBA reflecting the 2022/2023 2.7% wage increase as well as any additional funding secured for wages. All current Support Workers as well as any current employees whom worked as a Support Worker for a period of time following April 1, 2022 shall receive full retroactive pay to April 1, 2022, for all hours worked and/or paid. Retroactive pay shall be paid to within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of signing this Letter of Understanding (▇▇▇). Any employee currently working in another classification and still holding a Support Worker wage rate shall not be eligible for the increase as set out above and will remain in the original April 1, 2022 scale until such time as they return to the Support Worker classification. At which point they will be placed on the scale according to where their seniority puts them. While in effect this ▇▇▇ shall form part of the CBA and the wage scale above will replace the current Support Worker wage scale.
