Common use of Funding of Initial Costs Clause in Contracts

Funding of Initial Costs. The County shall fund the Initial Costs of establishing and implementing the CCA Program. In the event that the CCA Program becomes operational, these Initial Costs paid by the County and any specified interest shall be included in the customer charges for electric services to the extent permitted by law, and the County shall be reimbursed from the payment of such charges by customers of the Authority. The Authority may establish a reasonable time period over which such costs are recovered. In the event that the CCA Program does not become operational, the County shall not be entitled to any reimbursement of the Initial Costs.
