Common use of Funding Subject to Appropriation Clause in Contracts

Funding Subject to Appropriation. The general fund per-pupil funding is contingent upon legislative appropriation and allocation of funds. If the Legislature fails to appropriate sufficient monies or if the appropriation is reduced by the Governor or by any other means and the effect of such non-appropriation or reduction is to provide insufficient monies for the continuation of the School, this Contract shall terminate on the last day of the fiscal year for which sufficient funds are available.
