Further Engagement. Six (6) months prior to the expiry of the Period of Engagement, the Officer shall by notice in writing inform the University whether or not he desires to continue in the employment of the University after the expiration of the Period of Engagement whereupon the University shall as soon as may be reasonable before the expiry of the Period of Engagement inform the Officer by notice in writing whether or not it has decided to re-engage him;
