GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS. (a) Subject to applicable law, reasonable smoking and refreshments during hours of duty will be permitted in designated areas, provided an employee shall not leave the job to indulge in such smoking and refreshments without permission. (b) The Company agrees that there shall be no established maximum age limit in the hiring of employees. (c) As appropriate, staff shall be provided with customer contact uniforms or workwear to the specifications stated in the Company’s Uniform regulations without cost to the employee. Employees losing such garments shall be required to replace same at their own expense. When an employee leaves the service of the Company, such garments will be returned to the Company. Employees required to wear a uniform must report for the start of their shift in uniform. British Airways will assist in the laundering and cleaning of uniforms in the following manner: 1. Each affected employee will receive by December 15th of each year the sum of $250.00 to cover all cleaning and laundering costs incurred during the year. This amount will be pro-rated for employees who may have worked less than a full year. Employees assigned to Special Services will be eligible to receive such payment. 2. This allowance shall not apply to employees whose uniforms are presently being delivered or laundered at Company expense by an out- side cleaning service. Employees who wear uniforms which are laundered by the Company will be issued a minimum of five (5) shirts and two (2) pairs of trousers each week. 3. This reimbursement shall not apply to extraordinary expenses such as repairs or alterations. 4. British Airways reserves the right to change this procedure by contracting with a service which will provide cleaning and laundering of entire uniforms at Company expense. Such change would be made at the beginning of the calendar year. (d) A place shall be provided inside all Company shops and hangars marked “International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers” where Union notices of interest to the employees will be posted; however, no political circulars, propaganda or advertisements will be placed on these bulletin boards. (e) The Company shall provide each employee covered by this Agreement with a copy of the Agreement printed in a Union shop and bound in a convenient pocket-size booklet. (f) It is understood and agreed that the Company will not lock out any employee covered hereby, and the Union will not authorize or take part in any strike, or picketing of Company premises during the life of this Agreement, until the procedures for settling disputes as provided herein, and as provided by the Railway Labor Act as amended, have been exhausted. (g) The Chairperson of Shop Stewards across all Agreements shall be scheduled to work within the operation four hours per day. The other four hours, per day, of his/her work day he/she shall be considered over and above the normal requirements for that shift and he/she will be free to conduct union related affairs under the Agreements and in so doing will get clearance from his/her Section Head or his designee to enter work areas. However, it is understood that the provisions of Article I (b) will apply relative to such activities. For purposes of disciplinary hearings, an employee may request the Chairperson of Shop Stewards, provided the Chairperson is from the employee’s respective contract, or the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx from their respective contract to act as their representative. The representative will be released from duty to attend the hearing, subject to operational requirements, paid for lost straight time hours and, if required, provided with free space available travel in line with agreed pass policies. The hearing will be rescheduled as necessary until such time as the Company can release the representative from duty. (h) The IAM Negotiating Committee may consist of two employee representatives per contract. The President & Directing General Chairperson of District 142 will be the one who determines whether it will be one or two representatives per contract. British Airways will pay the wages of one (1) union representative per contract during negotiations, but not overtime. Expenses will be the responsibility of the IAM. When Shop Stewards or other employees wish to undertake union activities at the request of the IAMAW, the Company, subject to operational requirements and without pay, will endeavor to release them. (i) Any employee leaving the service of the Company will, on request, be furnished with a letter setting forth the individual’s qualifications and length of service. (j) If new equipment is put into service by the Company, employees shall be given every opportunity to become familiar with the new equipment without change in classification. (k) British Airways will handle Caledonian Airways flights that operate to JFK. At stations outside JFK manned by employees covered by this Agreement, BA will bid to handle Caledonian Airways on a competitive basis who will be free to accept the most competitive bid. Caledonian Airways flights to other destinations will not be handled by British Airways. Any charter flights operated by BA to manned on-line stations will be handled by employees covered by this Agreement. Flights into locations not manned by BA shall be handled at the Company’s discretion. (l) All Ops II qualified staff in Customer Service will be provided with route familiarization flights subject to Company requirements. The Company reserves the right to select the route to be flown. However every effort will be made to select the route which will provide the optimum amount of applicable experience. (m) Full-time employees will be permitted to engage in an outside profession, trade, or business while employed by British Airways. Full-time employees who wish to engage in outside profession, trade or business while employed by British Airways will be required to: (1) Provide to the People Department written notice of their secondary employer details (name of secondary employer/company, address and telephone contact, and number of hours regularly scheduled to work) prior to starting the new job/occupation. (2) Employees who are absent from work due to illness, short or long term disability or occupational injury may not engage in a secondary occupation without permission from the People Department.

The company will furnish uniform jackets for employees and will have uniform parkas and coveralls available in stock for employees to check out when needed. 3. The Company agrees to provide the Union with bulletin board space marked "Teamsters Airline Division" where Union notices of interest to the employees may be posted. No political, inflammatory, controversial, or derogatory material will be permitted thereon. 4. The Company shall cause to be printed and distributed to each employee a copy of this Agreement and shall provide the Teamsters -Airline Division with fifty (50) copies of the Labor Agreement. 5. Airline trip passes will be issued to qualified employees in accordance with existing Company policy. 6. Any deviation from this Agreement may be made by mutual agreement between the Company and the Teamsters - Airline Division. Such mutual agreement must be in writing and signed by the parties thereto. 7. The Company shall continue to allow employees fifteen (15) minutes to "wash-up" prior to punching out. 8. Supervisors and higher ranking officials not covered by this Agreement shall not be permitted to perform work of any hourly rate job except, instructing, training or in the case of emergencies, in which prior Union representative notification cannot occur. 9. Where employees have become physically unable to perform their regular work, the Union and the Company shall cooperate in attempting to place such employees in a position, for which they are qualified and able to perform. 10. The employee will be allowed four (4) work days leave with pay at the employee's regular rate of pay for the purpose of attending the funeral of a member of his or her immediate family. Such days shall be taken within the days immediately, preceding and/or following the funeral. Members of the immediate family shall consist of the employee's mother, father, or legal guardian in lieu thereof, step-parents, step-children, spouse, Domestic Partner (i.e. domestic partner registered under the Company’s domestic partnership policy), employees children, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchildren, mother-in-law and father-in-law. If additional days are required, such days may be taken without pay or deducted from the employee's vacation allowance. 11. If an employee's regularly scheduled work shift begins on one (1) calendar day and extends into the following calendar day, the "day" worked (for determining pay and holidays, etc.) shall be considered to be the day on which his shift started. 12. All orders or notices to an employee covered by the Agreement involving a transfer, promotion, demotion, layoff, discipline, or leave of absence shall be given every opportunity in writing with a copy to become familiar with the new equipment without change Union. No letter of notice for violation of Company rules will be used in classificationthe determining of discipline if such notice has been in the employee's file for twelve (12) months and there has been no recurrence of the same offense within the twelve (12) month period. All letters of reprimands or warnings will be removed from an employee's file after twelve (12) months from date letter is placed in the file. 13. When an employee passes his probationary period he will be issued a set of five (k5) British Airways uniforms. Each Employee will handle Caledonian Airways flights that operate utilize the automated uniform ordering process made available to JFKall covered Employees by the Company to order new or additional uniforms. At stations outside JFK manned Each Employee will be given an expense account with a minimum dollar amount equal to five complete uniform sets per year. Should an employee's uniform show exceptional wear and tear during this interim, the employee should consult with his supervisor. All employees wearing Company furnished uniforms will abide by the general appearance code for maintenance employees. 14. The Company will provide a file drawer for the use of the Union. Said file drawer shall be capable of being locked. 15. If there is any change during the life of this Agreement in the licenses employees covered by this AgreementAgreement are required to have, BA will bid all employees affected shall be given at least six (6) months from the date of such change to handle Caledonian Airways on a competitive basis who obtain each license, and there shall be no change in their status to pay during said six (6) month period. 16. Each Employee shall be responsible for clocking themselves in and out. The employee will be free to accept responsible for entering their hours of service or premiums other than his regular scheduled shift on the most competitive bidexception log. Caledonian Airways flights to other destinations Authorized company personnel will not be handled by British Airwayscreate and manage a log of work hour exceptions. 17. Any charter flights operated by BA to manned on-line stations will be handled by The Company shall offer all employees covered by this Agreement. The Company reserves agrees to provide a locked, secure area where Employees’ tools and tool boxes may be kept. By providing such facilities, however, the right Company does not thereby insure the safety of any tools or tool boxes kept therein, nor does it assume the liability of replacing any items which may be lost or stolen therefrom, except that the Company will reimburse an Employee covered by this Agreement for the loss by fire of his personal tools and tool box occasioned by a fire on Company premises or while the Employee is on Company business. It is further understood and agreed that when a mechanic is required by the Company to select travel in connection with emergency field service to restore Company aircraft or equipment to service, the route Company will reimburse such mechanic if his personally owned tools are lost or stolen while being shipped to or from the downline station or while such mechanic is at the downline station performing the emergency field service. This Agreement is subject to the following limitations and conditions: a. To qualify for reimbursement under this section, the Employee must have on file with the Company a complete inventory of his personal tools regularly used on Company business and kept on Company premises or used in connection with emergency field service. Such inventory is subject to verification by the Company. Tools which are added to the Employee’s tool box after the inventory will not be flown. However every effort covered until the tools are added to the inventory; b. Tools which are not essential to the performance of the job will be made to select the route which will provide the optimum amount of applicable experience. (m) Full-time employees will not be permitted to engage be included in the inventory; c. Missing individual tools are not covered; d. Tool boxes excessively damaged while being shipped for field service use will be repaired or replace. 14. (e) Supervisory Personnel, including Team Leaders, shall not perform work under the contract except in the case of emergency. (q) Effective January 1, 2019, and for the term of District 142 this Agreement, the Company will start a program that provides paid vision insurance for all employees under this agreement with an implementation date yet to be determined. For all new-hire employees hired after the date of signing of this Agreement, there shall be a twelve (12) month waiting period to enroll. All plan guidelines are covered by, and contained in, the plan document controlled by the Company. Additional tiered coverage shall also be made available to family members of the employee at a cost that will be paid by the one employee. Any annual cost increases to the vision coverage for additional family members, shall be controlled by the plan document and communicated concurrently during the annual enrollment. (r) Aer Lingus will guarantee for the life of the contract any employee covered by this contract who determines whether is currently working at the Jericho facility a job in a brick and mortar location if they choose. This may not necessarily be at the current location but within a 50-mile radius. The IAM agrees the minimum staffing levels in employees covered by this agreement can reduce by attrition. The Company will no longer be required to back fill to maintain 15 full-time positions in the brick and mortar call center. Management will have the right to perform these duties if there is a requirement for the Maintenance Representative/Mechanic assigned the desk function to work on aircraft. It will be at the company’s discretion to determine whether the work of, post de-icing inspection and associated paperwork, will continue to be performed by the Maintenance Representative/Mechanic or some other party. (s) At JFK, if there is a manager on shift and there is an unplanned need for him to perform work that is covered by the engineering collective bargaining agreement, then it shall not be deemed a violation of the agreement if he does so, provided the manager notifies the senior maintenance representative on duty. The Company will train employees as required on customers' equipment and documentation related to international travel (Contract Services) and in addition employees will be given an opportunity to become familiar with borrowed, and the Union will not authorize rented or take part in any strike, leased equipment or picketing of Company premises during the life of this Agreement, until the procedures for settling disputes as provided herein, and as provided by the Railway Labor Act as amended, have been exhaustednew technology. All notices placed on such bulletin boards shall relate to official Union business. 18.5 The Company shall provide a copy of this Agreement to each employee covered hereby. (ja) If new equipment is put into service Where the Company requires an employee to wear a uniform in the performance of his work, the cost of the initial and replacement garments, including minor alterations, if required, will be borne by the Company. Where the Company requires employees to wear uniforms, employees shall it will supply at least five (5) shirts and three (3) pants or, in the case of female agents who choose to wear dresses, four (4) dresses. State AOA badges which are worn out or which must be changed by state requirement will be provided at no cost to the employee; however, replacement of lost badges will be at the cost of the employee. (a) Temporary and/or part-time employees may be hired to perform specific jobs by agreement between the Company and the Union. Under these agreements such employees will not accrue seniority but will be subject to wage and hour provisions and to such other employee benefits covered by this Agreement as may be agreed upon at the time. No part-time employee will be hired to work more than twenty (20) hours within one (1) work week except when there is no qualified applicant for full- time employment. (b) The Company may continue its present practice of employing part-time personnel, but such practice shall not be extended so as to displace full-time employees who would normally be required. In emergency situations, management may assign British Airways Mechanics and/or Maintenance Representatives to perform any of the above functions. (s) At JFK, if there is a manager on shift and there is an unplanned need for him to perform work that is covered by the engineering collective bargaining agreement, then it shall not be deemed a violation of the agreement if he does so, provided the manager notifies the senior maintenance representative on duty. This Agreement is subject to the following limitations and conditions: a. To qualify for reimbursement under this section, the employee must have on file with the Company a complete inventory of the employee’s required tools regularly used on Company business and kept on Company premises or used in connection with emergency field service. Such inventory is subject to verification and periodic audit by the Company and must be signed for by the employee and management personnel. Tools which are added to or removed from the employee’s tool-box after the inventory will not be covered until the tools are added to or removed from the inventory and signed off by the employee and management; b. Tools which are not essential to the performance of the job will not be permitted to be included in the inventory unless approved by management. c. In addition to loss or theft of tools while on a field trip as outlined above in Section 8, the Company will cover tools that are lost or stolen as a result of a catastrophic event. When the Company initiates the use of new equipment and/or methods, necessary training with respect to same will be offered to those employees who normally perform the work in the affected classification and department, on Company time, in seniority order, at no cost to the employee. 1. Under government regulation, the Hourly Employee’s Retirement Savings Plan has been established whereby the Company and eligible employees may contribute a specified amount for each hour worked. The funds will be placed in a Retirement trust Account and will be managed by an independent trustee. Company contributions remain in the Trust Fund and cannot be returned to the Company under any circumstances. Provisions are made for a vesting schedule, withdrawal of all or part of each employee’s contribution, temporary suspension of participation and sharing of Company contribution and fund earnings, all in accordance with government regulations. 2. The schedule of Company contribution for the term of the contract will be as follows: thirty cents ($.30) per hour for each hour worked. The amount of the minimum participant’s contribution for the term of the contract will be as follows: ten cents ($.10) per hour worked. 3. Each participant will have the option to contributing the minimum participants contribution as specified above or an amount equal to three (3) times ninety cents ($.90) the Company’s contribution in five cent ($.05) per hour increments. A participant may elect to have his contributions raised from the minimum yearly rate to the maximum rate at any time during the year. 4. A participant contributing the maximum may reduce his contribution back to the minimum at any time; however, he may not elect to move up to the maximum contribution again until the next anniversary date of the contract. 5. Regardless of which option the participant selects, the Company’s contribution will be only the amount specified above. 6. A summary of the Plan shall be made available to all employees. 7. A copy of the entire Plan will be furnished to the Union. The plan will be available for inspection at the office of the Company and/or the Union during the normal business hours. 8. The Plan is put into service continually subject to Internal Revenue Service approval and other cognizant authority. The Company and the Union acknowledge that if changes are required in order to maintain tax-exempt status and qualifications, the Company will submit such changes and the Union will be notified. 9. Employees covered by this agreement and who have worked for the Company one (1) year have the option to participate in the Company’s Direct Deposit Program with only one change in a direct deposit institution per calendar year. SECTION I. It shall be the sole responsibility of employees to notify the Company personnel office in writing of their current address and telephone number and changes thereof. The Company shall be considered as having complied with any notice requirement if such notice requirement is sent to the employee’s last address on record. SECTION J. Mutual agreement to waive any condition of this agreement shall not constitute a precedent for any further waiver of such condition. SECTION K. If a severe decline in business results in a major reduction in the number of plant employees, thereby reducing the number of required supervisors, the Company, employees shall be given every opportunity after notification to become familiar with the new equipment without change Union, may use supervisors to perform the work in classificationcrew leader, quality control and lab technician classifications, which are covered by this Agreement. This Section supersedes other provisions of this Agreement. Because of this action and during this period, the employee displaced by a supervisor will suffer no reduction in his hourly rate of pay. Unless provided elsewhere in Agreement, no benefit program currently being enjoyed by employees covered by this Agreement will be discontinued as a result of the signing of this Agreement. SECTION M. Employees will be allowed shift trades under the following: 1. All shift trade agreements must be in writing and in the same department and same classification, BA signed by both parties involved and will bid be approved by the regular supervisor of the employee initiating the trade and the regular supervisor of the other employee and may be approved between other classifications and departments provided the employees are qualified. 2. No probationary employee may shift trade. 3. Every person who commits to handle Caledonian Airways a shift trade will be required to show up on time and work the entire shift. Should a verifiable emergency occur, the employee must make arrangements for someone who is qualified to cover the shift. 4. In the event an employee is tardy on a competitive basis who shift trade he will be free subject to accept the most competitive biddiscipline as outlined in the Company’s current tardiness policy. 5. Caledonian Airways flights Failure to other destinations show up or cover the shift trade will result in disciplinary action in accordance with the attendance policy plus a thirty (30) day shift trade suspension. 6. A shift trade may be effective with at least forty-eight (48) hours prior acknowledge of the Company. 7. Parties engaging in a trade that has not been previously acknowledged will lose their shift trade privileges. 8. No additional premium pay or overtime will be involved because of any shift trade. 9. No double shifts will be worked as a result of a shift trade. SECTION N. There will be in the plant a Labor Management Committee consisting of four (4) members representing the Company and four (4) members representing the Union. The Committee shall endeavor to maintain harmonious relations, shop efficiency, safety and maximum production. a. The Company and the Labor Committee will meet quarterly to discuss conditions or problems relating to this Agreement. The agenda of the meeting will be outlined, reviewed and approved by the Operations Manager before the meeting. b. The four (4) employees representing the Union shall not be handled by British Airwaysall from any one department. c. The Labor Committee members attending the above meeting shall attend the meeting without loss of wages not to exceed two (2) hours. SECTION O. Words used in the singular form shall be deemed to include the plural, and vice versa, in all situations where they would apply. SECTION P. Headings to Articles, Sections or subsections of the Agreement have been supplied for convenience only and are not to be taken as limiting or extending the meanings of any of the provisions of the Agreement. GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS. (a) Subject to applicable law, reasonable smoking and refreshments during hours of duty will be permitted in designated areas, provided an employee shall not leave the job to indulge in such smoking and refreshments without permission. (c) As appropriate, staff shall be provided with customer contact uniforms or workwear to the specifications stated in the Company’s 's Uniform regulations without cost to the employee. Management will have the right to perform these duties if there is a requirement for the Maintenance Representative/Xxxxxxxx assigned the desk function to work on aircraft. It will be at the company’s discretion to determine whether the work of, post de-icing inspection and associated paperwork, will continue to be performed by the Maintenance Representative/Mechanic or some other party. In emergency situations, management may assign British Airways Mechanics and/or Maintenance Representatives to perform any of the above functions. (s) Non-normal maintenance, such as the type carried out by small specialist AOG teams, can be carried out by such. The engineering staff will match, as far as staff can be made available from the operation, man for man, for the compliment of AOG team members working on said aircraft. For engineering major repairs that require specialized manufacturers repair teams that consist of over SIX (6) persons, the Company and Union will meet to discuss limited staffing. (t) It is hereby mutually agreed and understood that the Company agrees to continue its present practice of paying the cost of parking at Airports where employees covered in this Agreement are located. It is also agreed that where at any airport the parking facilities available to employees are drastically changed the Company will negotiate the changed circumstances with representatives of the Union.

Any deviation from this Agreement may be made by mutual agreement between the Company and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association IBT Airline Division. Such mutual agreement must be in writing and signed by the parties thereto. 7. The Company shall continue to allow Employees a reasonable amount of time to wash-up prior to punching out. 8. Supervisors/Tech Supervisors and higher ranking officials shall not be permitted to perform work of any hourly rated job covered by this Agreement except in emergencies or instructing or training of Employees or assisting in troubleshooting. 9. Where Employees have become physically unable to perform their regular work, the Union and the Company shall cooperate in attempting to place such Employees in a position within their classification for which they are qualified and able to perform, or by mutual agreement in a lower classification for which they are qualified and able to perform. 10. The Employee will be allowed four (4) work days leave with pay at the Employee's regular rate of pay for the purpose of attending the funeral of a member of his or her immediate family. Such days shall be taken within the days immediately preceding and/or following the funeral. Members of the immediate family shall consist of the Employee's mother, father, or legal guardian in lieu thereof, spouse, children, brother, sister, grandparents, mother-in-law and father- in-law. If additional days are required, such days may be taken without pay or deducted from the Employee's vacation allowance. 11. If an Employee's regularly scheduled work shift begins on one calendar day and extends into the following calendar day, the day worked (for determining pay and holidays, etc.) shall be considered to be the day on which his shift started. 12. The Company agrees to provide a locked, secure area where Employees' tools and tool boxes may be kept. By providing such facilities, however, the Company does not thereby insure the safety of any tools or tool boxes kept therein, nor does it assume the liability of replacing any items which may be lost or stolen therefrom, except that the Company will reimburse an Employee covered by this Agreement for the loss by fire of his personal tools and tool box occasioned by a fire on Company premises or while the Employee is on Company business. It is further understood and agreed that when a mechanic is required by the Company to travel in connection with emergency field service to restore Company aircraft or equipment to service, the Company will reimburse such mechanic if his personally owned tools are lost or stolen while being shipped to or from the downline station or while such mechanic is at the downline station performing the emergency field service. This Agreement is subject to the following limitations and conditions: a. To qualify for reimbursement under this section, the Employee must have on file with the Company a complete inventory of his personal tools regularly used on Company business and kept on Company premises or used in connection with emergency field service. Such inventory is subject to verification by the Company. Tools which are added to the Employee's tool box after the inventory will not be covered until the tools are added to the inventory; b. Tools which are not essential to the performance of the job will not be permitted to be included in the inventory; c. Missing individual tools are not covered; d. Tool boxes excessively damaged while being shipped for field service use shall be repaired or replace. 13. All orders or notices to an Employee covered by the Agreement involving a transfer, promotion, demotion, layoff, discipline, or leave of absence shall be given every opportunity in writing with a copy to become familiar with the new equipment without change Union. No letter or notice for violation of Company rules will be used in classificationthe determining of discipline if such notice has been in the Employee's file for twelve (12) months and there has been no recurrence of the same offense within the twelve (12) month period.
