GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS. A. If there should be any change during the life of this Agreement in Federal license requirements, Employees affected will be given a reasonable length of time, specified in such changed requirements, to obtain the license affected without change in pay status. B. If new equipment is put into service by the Company, all Employees affected shall be given reasonable opportunity to become familiar with the new equipment without change of classification or rate. C. The Company agrees to provide enclosed locked bulletin boards marked “I.A.M.” at all work locations where it is possible to do so, for the posting of Union notices of meetings and other business matters. Nothing of a derogatory or inflammatory nature may be posted. The Company will provide free parking at each work Maintenance Base for Employees. E. F. The Company will continue to consider instances of loss by fire, act of God, theft, or damage (beyond normal wear and tear) of a Mechanics tool box and contents on a case by case basis, and where warranted, will make appropriate reimbursement to the Employee. G. No Employee under this Agreement will be required to enter an aircraft or other area where it is known that there may be an active threat. If the knowledge of such a threat is known by Company officials, the Employees will be informed immediately. However, an Employee may volunteer to perform these duties. H. No Employee will be required to participate in a maintenance test or ferry flight unless the aircraft has been properly released. I. The Company will provide death and disability benefits applicable if the Employee suffers work-related death or other disability as a result of an explosion or accident during a bomb scare or maintenance test or ferry flight, in accordance with applicable Workers’ Compensation laws and Company group insurance programs. J. A Supervisor may assist the Employee in order to maintain a flight departure time. A Supervisor may also assist in troubleshooting problems or training of Employees. The Supervisor will coordinate such activities with the lead Mechanic on duty. Supervisors will not perform Employee’s work as covered by this Agreement to avoid payment of overtime or deny the Employee the right to perform his job. K. The Company and the Union will share equally the costs of printing this Agreement in sufficient quantities to provide each Employee covered hereunder with a copy. The Union may select the printer of its choice, provided, the costs are not out of line with generally prevailing rates. L. When the Company determines that more than one (1) Employee is to be provided with training, the opportunity for such training shall be offered in the order of Classification seniority (by Maintenance Base) among those Employees to be trained on the shift where the work is to be performed. M. The Employee and family members will continue to receive pass benefits in accordance with the then current pass policy and the same benefits as afforded to any other Employee. N. The Company will continue to provide lockers to Employees for placement of personal belongings in the following Classifications: Aircraft Mechanic/Avionics Technician, Inspector, Lead Mechanic, Aircraft Cleaner/Utility Person. O. A representative of the I.A.M.A.W. will be permitted to enter the facilities of the Company for a visit after notifying the Director of Maintenance or his designee. At no time will the visit disrupt the operation.

Should an employee change his address or telephone number, he must notify the manager immediately. A change of address form is available for this Agreement purpose. K. Employees will be granted four (4) days off with pay for a death in sufficient quantities the immediate family for the following: mother, father, brother, sister, spouse, eligible committed partner (as defined and recognized by the Benefits Department), children (including stepchildren and children of an eligible committed partner), and step-parents. Employees will be given three (3) days off with pay for the death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, parent of an eligible committed partner, grandparents, and grandchildren. If additional days are required, the employee may elect to provide each Employee covered hereunder with a copyuse accrued vacation. If the employee has no accrued vacation in his bank, in the event of death of the employee’s spouse, committed or registered partner, child, mother, or father, the employee may use up to four (4) accrued sick days as additional leave. The Union may select use of accrued sick leave must be in compliance with Article 13, paragraph 1(C) (first sick day compensation shall not be paid unless the printer employee has nine (9) days or more of its choiceaccrued sick pay to his credit). If the knowledge employee is summoned or subpoenaed to court by other parties or for the purpose of testifying in his own behalf, no such compensation will be paid. Payment by the Company shall be conditioned upon the employee providing a threat certified court document setting forth dates of service as a juror. L. Except in servicing of flights, no work shall be performed out of doors during inclement weather where shelter is known by reasonably available. M. Employees assigned to perform work at locations away from Midway Airport where no hangar is available will be paid a premium of thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour for all hours spent on such assignment. N. As long as the Company officialshas control of the present parking facility adjacent to the hangar, the Employees will be informed immediately. However, an Employee may volunteer to perform these duties. H. No Employee will be required to participate in a maintenance test or ferry flight unless the aircraft has been properly released. I. The Company will provide death and disability benefits applicable if parking for the Employee suffers work-related death or other disability employees at no cost. O. If there Service records shall be maintained for all employees by the Company and upon resignation or discharge from the service, the employee upon request, will be furnished with a copy of same. In discharge cases the employee and his Union Representative will have access to the service records applicable to the case prior to the holding of any investigation. The Company agrees to provide enclosed locked bulletin boards marked “I.A.M.” at all work locations where it is possible to do so, for the posting of Union notices of meetings and other business matters. Nothing of a derogatory or inflammatory nature may be posted. The Xxxxxxx shall be responsible for securing the bulletin board and ensuring that only appropriate I.A.M. meeting and business matters are postedwages. D. The Company Standard uniforms shall be furnished without cost to the employee by the Company. Employees will provide free parking launder or clean their uniform at each work Maintenance Base for Employees. E. This Agreement may not their own expense. Employees losing such garments shall be amended or supplemented except by a written Letter of Agreement signed by required to replace same at their own expense. When an officer employee leaves the service of the Company, such garments will be returned to the Company. The Company will continue to consider instances of loss by fire, act of God, theft, or damage (beyond normal wear and tear) of a Mechanics tool box and contents on a case by case basis, and where warranted, will make appropriate reimbursement to the Employee. G. No Employee under this Agreement will be required to enter an aircraft or other area where it is known that there may be an active threat. If the knowledge of such a threat is known by Company officials, the Employees will be informed immediately. However, an Employee may volunteer to perform these duties. H. No Employee will be required to participate in a maintenance test or ferry flight unless the aircraft has been properly released. I. The Company will shall provide death and disability benefits applicable if the Employee suffers work-related death or other disability as a result of an explosion or accident during a bomb scare or maintenance test or ferry flight, in accordance with applicable Workers’ Compensation laws and Company group insurance programs. J. A Supervisor may assist the Employee in order to maintain a flight departure time. A Supervisor may also assist in troubleshooting problems or training of Employees. The Supervisor will coordinate such activities with the lead Mechanic on duty. Supervisors will not perform Employee’s work as each employee covered by this Agreement to avoid payment with a copy of overtime or deny the Employee the right to perform his jobAgreement in booklet form. K. The Company and G. In the interest of training Agents in all other phases of work, Supervisors may rotate work assignment on a daily basis; however, this authority shall not be used for purposes of discrimination. M. Employees are expected to be well groomed and present a neat and businesslike appearance at all times while on duty. Employees not reporting to work in uniform may be subject to Progressive Discipline. N. It is forbidden for any employee to engage in drinking alcoholic beverages while in uniform or when on duty or to come to work under the influence of alcohol. This prohibition also applies to narcotics, un-prescribed, and illegal drugs. O. All employees must be approved and stay bondable as a condition of continued employment. P. The Company will notify District #142 of any new hired employee(s) that will be covered by this Agreement as soon as practical. The Company shall provide District #142 with a corrected Seniority List once a year. Q. Negotiating Committee: The two (2) employees on the Union’s Committee shall be compensated for rostered times on days on which negotiations are scheduled. Negotiating Committee: The two (2) employees on the Union’s Committee shall be compensated for time lost on days on which negotiations are scheduled even if direct negotiations do not occur, provided that the employees actually participate in meetings with the Union for purposes of collective bargaining. Either party may bring to such negotiation meetings a specialist regarding technical or special items being considered or any other designated representative. Employees called into negotiations on a day off shall be given back the time lost from the day off. Effective upon the signing of this Agreement, employees who are late for work three (3) times in a visit after notifying rolling ninety (90) day period, will receive an oral warning (a notation of which shall be placed in the Director employee’s file); an employee who is late for work an additional three (3) times in a rolling ninety (90) day period will receive a written warning; an employee late for work an additional three (3) times in a rolling ninety (90) day period shall be suspended without pay for one day. If the employee, upon receiving and warning for attendance, completes a ninety (90) day rolling period with no additional late for work instances, then the warnings shall be removed from their file and not be used for the basis of Maintenance or his designee. At no time will the visit disrupt the operationany further discipline.

GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS. A.
