Common use of GENERAL CONTRACTOR'S BONDS Clause in Contracts

GENERAL CONTRACTOR'S BONDS. In addition to the insurance required above, the bonds for the General Contractor functions under this Agreement shall be provided as required by the General Conditions. The 100% performance and payment bonds may exclude the amount attributable to design services as agreed to by DFCM. The performance and payment bonds must be in effect and provided to DFCM on the required forms prior to the issuance of a notice to proceed for the actual construction work.
