General Human Resource Matters. Provision of a full human resource advisory and support service as required. The service provided will consist of the following: (i) Advice on the production of job descriptions and person specifications. (ii) Job evaluation of job descriptions and allocation of grades. (iii) Assistance in recruitment advertising and advertising of vacant posts. (iv) Attendance at interviews and advice to Board Members. (v) Undertaking necessary checks including references, medicals, enhanced police and service disclosures. (vi) Preparation of offer letters and statements of main terms of employment. (vii) Advice to the Board at meetings as required. The charge for this service is based on 13 hours at £38 per hour and is estimated to be £494 (exclusive of VAT) for 2018/19. This rate will increase to £39 for 2019/20 (£507) and £40 for 2020/21 (£520). The officer to contact in relation to the provision of this service is –
