Common use of General Interpretation Clause in Contracts

General Interpretation. (a) In this Agreement: (i) references to, or to a provision of, a Finance Document or any other document are references to it as amended or supplemented, whether before the date of this Agreement or otherwise; (ii) references to, or to a provision of, any law include any amendment, extension, re-enactment or replacement, whether made before the date of this Agreement or otherwise; (iii) words denoting the singular number shall include the plural and vice versa; and (iv) where a determination or opinion is stated to be “conclusive” it shall be binding on the relevant party save for manifest error;

(c) The clause headings shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement.
