Common use of General Liability and Automobile Liability Coverages Clause in Contracts

General Liability and Automobile Liability Coverages. (a) City, its officers, officials, and employees and volunteers are to be covered as additional insureds as respects: liability arising out of activities Consultant performs, products and completed operations of Consultant; premises owned, occupied or used by Consultant, or automobiles owned, leased or hired or borrowed by Consultant. The coverage shall contain no special limitations on the scope of protection afforded to City, its officers, officials, or employees. (b) Consultant's insurance coverage shall be primary insurance as respect to City, its officers, officials, employees and volunteers. Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by City, its officers, officials, employees or volunteers shall apply in excess of, and not contribute with, Consultant's insurance. (c) Consultant's insurance shall apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insurer's liability. (d) Any failure to comply with the reporting or other provisions of the policies including breaches of warranties shall not affect coverage provided to the City, its officers, officials, employees or volunteers.
