Common use of General Powers of Trustees Clause in Contracts

General Powers of Trustees. Subject to any express limitations contained in this Trust Deed or the Trustee Act 1956 or implied by general law, the Trustees shall be capable of holding real and personal property, of suing and being sued, and shall have all of the rights, powers and privileges of natural persons so that the Trustees may do all such things they consider necessary in their absolute discretion to perform or otherwise carry out the Trust Purposes.
