Common use of GENERAL REQUIREMENT FOR CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

GENERAL REQUIREMENT FOR CONTRACT. 1. The contractor (including all subcontractors) are required to insert these contract provisions in each contract and subcontract, and further require that the clauses be included in all subcontracts; 2. The contractor (or subcontractor) is required to incorporate applicable requirements of these contract provisions by reference for work done under any purchase orders, rental agreements and other agreements for supplies or services; 3. The contractor is responsible for compliance with these contract provisions by any subcontractor, lower-tier subcontractor or service provider; and 4. The contractor (or subcontractor) shall not modify the provisions. Subject to the applicability criteria noted in the specific contract provisions, these contract provisions apply to all work performed on the contract.
