GeoNetworking Layer. ‌ GeoNetworking is the ITS station networking & transport protocol block performing geo- graphic addressing and routing functions. It corresponds to the GeoRouting component of the ITS station. GeoNetworking is indeed a layer, which plays a crucial role as it is in charge of the geographic addressing and forwarding functions, i.e. forwarding a packet destination nodes located in a given geographic area.
