Common use of GIF Construction Clause in Contracts

GIF Construction. Generator agrees to cause the GIF to be designed and constructed in accordance with Good Utility Practice, ERCOT Requirements, and the National Electrical Safety Code in effect at the time of construction. In addition, Generator agrees to design and construct the GIF in accordance with the National Electric Code. Within one hundred and twenty (120) days after Commercial Operation, unless the Parties agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, the Generator shall deliver to the TSP the following “as-built” drawings, information and documents for the GIF: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Plant and the GIF, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the GIF, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Generator’s main-power transformers, the facilities connecting the Plant to the main power transformers and the GIF, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated main power transformers and the generators and the impedance of any transmission voltage lines that are part of the GIF.
