Common use of GIFTS AND INCENTIVES Clause in Contracts

GIFTS AND INCENTIVES. Subgrantee is prohibited from giving gifts to City or State of Illinois employees. Subgrantee will provide the City with advance notice of Subgrantee’s providing gifts, excluding charitable donations given as incentives to community-based organizations in Illinois and clients in Illinois to assist Subgrantee in carrying out its responsibilities under this Agreement.

Subrecipient shall not pay any bonus or commission for the purpose of obtaining the grant awarded under this Agreement.
