Good Medical Practice: Consultation. The General Medical Council (GMC) has launched a formal consultation on the revised text of its guidance document Good Medical Practice. Good Medical Practice is the GMC’s core guidance for doctors, which sets out the standards, principles and values expected of all doctors registered with the GMC. The current edition was published in November 2006 and a draft 2012 version is now out for consultation.
