Common use of Governing Law and Attornment Clause in Contracts

Governing Law and Attornment. This Investment Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein, notwithstanding any conflict of laws rules that would apply the laws of another jurisdiction, and the Parties hereby irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Province of Alberta for all disputes arising under this Investment Agreement.
