Common use of GOVERNMENT LAWS AND REGULATIONS Clause in Contracts

GOVERNMENT LAWS AND REGULATIONS. This contract shall not supersede any existing laws or future laws of the State or Federal Government as they affect the legal operation of the school system by the School District. If any section or subsection of this Agreement shall be declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction or shall become inoperative because of any Federal or State law, the remaining portions of the Agreement shall continue in full force until the prescribed termination date. The provisions of this Agreement will be applied without regard to race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, physical characteristics, handicap, or marital status.
