Common use of Government Order Clause in Contracts

Government Order. If the receiving Party is requested to disclose any of the disclosing Party’s Confidential Information pursuant to any judicial or governmental order, the receiving Party will promptly notify the disclosing Party of such order so that the disclosing Party, in its sole discretion, may seek an appropriate protective order and/or take any other action to prevent or minimize the breadth of such disclosure.
