Common use of Government Shutdown Clause in Contracts

Government Shutdown. ‌ In the event of a government shutdown, any business days that the WA XXX system is not available do not count against the business day deadlines in Para. 23A, 32, 33A(2), 53(1)(b), 53(2)(c), and 54. These deadlines will be extended by the same number of business days that the government was shut down. Any producer deadline dates to sign and submit a WA request or sign a WA offer remain unchanged. If the RO provides a WA offer and the AIP does not retrieve the WA offer from the XXX system prior to a government shutdown, it will be determined by the RO on a case-by-case basis how to proceed. 66 AIP Scorecard Errors‌ An error will be counted on the AIP Scorecard for the following situations (see Exh. 6F):
