The Governmental Submittals clause requires one party, typically the contractor or service provider, to prepare and submit all necessary documents, applications, or permits to relevant government authorities as part of fulfilling their contractual obligations. This may include obtaining building permits, environmental approvals, or compliance certifications before or during the execution of a project. By assigning responsibility for these submissions, the clause ensures that the project proceeds in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby reducing the risk of legal delays or penalties.
