GPA. Students must have current clearances including PA Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal Check, and FBI clearance, all obtained through the PA Department of Education system. • Students must complete the pre-requisite courses EDUC 0204 (students can take EDU 1510 at JCC) and EDUC 0235 (students must take this course at UPB). Students who take these courses after they transfer to UPB, and earn a minimum grade of “C-“ for both courses and for all other courses taken at UPB, will then be admitted to the Biology Education (7-12) program but may require more than four semesters at UPB to complete program.
