Common use of Gradual Damage Clause in Contracts

Gradual Damage. WE DO NOT INSURE: (a) Wear and tear to, or gradual deterioration of, property. (b) loss or damage caused by rust, corrosion, dampness, condensation, extremes of temperature, wet or dry rot, fungi or spores. (c) Repeated damage to property. However, we insure loss or damage caused directly to insured property by an insured peril resulting from such gradual damage.
