Grandfather Clause. The terms of this Article IX regarding professional growth credit for opportunities other than college courses will apply only to teachers employed before or during the 1995-1996 school year. For those teachers only, any professional growth compen- sation earned prior to October 1, 1997, will continue to be paid to the teacher.
Grandfather Clause. Employees covered by this collective bargaining Agreement and hired by the department before September 29, 1999, who were not in a collective bargaining unit prior to that date shall not be subject to the Union security provision as long as they remain in the positions they held on September 29, 1999. If any employee transfers into a different bargaining unit position after September 29, 1999, the employee shall be subject to the Union security provision. Any employees exempted from dues or representation fees by this “grandfather clause” may voluntarily pay dues or representation fees at the employee’s choice.
Grandfather Clause. An employee whose personal pay rate, sick days or "A" days effective on the date of signing this Agreement are higher than the negotiated job rates, sick leave days or "A" days shall retain such higher rate or benefits so long as such employee remains in the bargaining unit without being promoted to a higher paying position. Such employee will be required to comply with the contractual eligibility requirements for any particular sick day or "A" day.
Grandfather Clause. No employee employed by any signatory Employer prior to July 1, 1992 shall receive a reduction in base rate of pay as a result of the changes in classification & work categories set forth in this Agreement.
Grandfather Clause. • Employees who are teleworking on an approved agreement may remain on telework and will not have to reapply. To the extent that any provisions of those agreements do not conform to this Article, the provisions of this Article will govern.
Grandfather Clause. 1. The committee will not deny credit for any coursework (semester or quarter hours), CEU’s, or time-in-service accumulated which satisfies the requirements under the 1987 standards for certificate renewals or upgrades.
Grandfather Clause. A. Current Insurance Option 1 as shown in Appendix D, shall be available only to employees enrolled in Option 1 as of the date of ratification of this Agreement. The Board shall continue to offer Option 1 to these employees but will not offer Option 1 to new enrollees during open enrollment periods.
