Common use of GRANTEE ACCOUNTABILITY Clause in Contracts

GRANTEE ACCOUNTABILITY. The Grantee is ultimately responsible and accountable for the manner in which the grant funds are utilized and accounted for and the way the grant is administered, even if the Grantee has contracted with another organization, public or private, to administer or operate its grant program. In the event an audit should determine that grant funds are owed to CARE, the Grantee will be solely responsible for repayment of grant funds to CARE.
