GRANTEE ACCOUNTABILITY. The Grantee is ultimately responsible and accountable for the manner in which the grant funds are utilized and accounted for and the way the grant is administered, even if the Grantee has contracted with another organization, public or private, to administer or operate its grant project. In the event an audit should determine that grant funds are owed to the State Library, the Grantee is responsible for repayment of the funds to the State Library.
