Common use of Granting of Leasehold Estate Clause in Contracts

Granting of Leasehold Estate. The Developer hereby rents, leases and lets the Project to the City, and the City hereby rents, leases and hires the Project from the Developer, subject to Permitted Encumbrances existing as of the date of the execution and delivery hereof, for the rentals and upon and subject to the terms and conditions herein contained.
