Common use of Granting of Power of Attorney Clause in Contracts

Granting of Power of Attorney. 1. The Company may grant the power of attorney to the Renter in cases in which, during use of the Service, the Renter needs to purchase products sold by other companies or to use services provided by other companies pursuant to sales contracts, usage contracts, etc. concluded by the Company. 2. When the Company grants the power of attorney to the Renter, the scope of such power of attorney shall be as stipulated in this Agreement or on the website described in Paragraph 2 of Article 43. The Renter may act on the Company's behalf within the scope of the power of attorney granted to the Renter. 3. The Renter shall be liable for compensation for any damage suffered by the Company or another party due to misuse of the power of attorney, or acts deviating from the scope of the power of attorney specified by the Company, by the Renter.
