Common use of Grantor and Lien Not Released Clause in Contracts

Grantor and Lien Not Released. Without affecting the liability of Grantor or any other person liable for the payment of the Indebtedness, and without affecting the lien or charge of this Deed of Trust as security for the payment of the Indebtedness, Beneficiary and Trustee may, from time to time and without notice to any junior lien holder or holder of any right or other interest in and to the Property: (a) release any person so liable, (b) waive or modify any provision of this Deed of Trust or the other Loan Documents or grant other indulgences, (c) release all or any part of the Property, (d) take additional security for any obligation herein mentioned, (e) subordinate the lien or charge of this Deed of Trust, (f) consent to the granting of any easement, or (g) consent to any map or plan of the Property.
