GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE Section 1: Definitions. A. A "Grievance" is an alleged violation or claimed misinterpretation or misapplication of a specified Article or Section of this Agreement. B. The terms "teacher" and "grievant" include any individual or group of individuals in the bargaining unit. C. The term "day" when used in this Article shall mean teacher days (as that term is used in the school calendar of 185 days). During the summer recess, the term shall mean weekdays (Monday through Friday). D. The term "building principal" includes regular licensed Principal or Assistant Principal at each educational institution in the system.
