Grievance Timeline. Grievances shall be processed as rapidly as possible; the number of days indicated at each level shall be considered as a maximum; every effort shall be made to expedite the process. The time limits specified, however, may be extended by mutual written agreement. Should the grievant not adhere to the time limits specified in this Article, the grievant will be bound by the written decision from the previous level. Should the District not adhere to the time limits herein, the grievant may proceed at once to the next level. In any event, the written grievance must be filed within five workdays after which the grievant knew, or should have known of the cause for the dispute.

Grievance Timeline. All Grievances must be filed in writing, as provided for in Section 24.1, above, within seven (7) business days after the event or events giving rise to the Grievance occurred, or within seven (7) business days after the event or events giving rise to the Grievance reasonably should have been known to the nurse or Union by submitting a written grievance.
