Grounds and Procedures for Academy Termination of Contract. The Academy Board, by majority vote of its Directors, may, at any time and for any reason, request termination of this Contract. The Academy Board’s request for termination shall be made to the Charter Schools Office Director not less than six (6) calendar months in advance of the Academy’s proposed effective date of termination. Upon receipt of an Academy request for termination, the Charter Schools Office Director shall present the Academy Board’s request for termination to the College Board. A copy of the Academy Board’s resolution approving of the Contract termination, including a summary of the reasons for terminating the Contract, shall be included with the Academy Board’s request for termination.
