Group Conversion. If the Group’s coverage is underwritten by BCBSM, state law (MCL 550.1410a) requires the Group to notify any BCBSM subscriber whose Group coverage is cancelled of the right to convert to BCBSM group conversion coverage. This notice must be provided within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation of Group BCBSM coverage. BCBSM will provide this group conversion option for thirty (30) days from the date of termination of the subscriber's coverage through the Group.
