Habitat Improvements Clause Samples
Habitat Improvements. The Waterfowl Monitoring Director may recommend use of the funds authorized by Order 98-05 ¶ 4.b, for the purpose of improving waterfowl habitat on U.S. Forest Service lands or elsewhere in the Mono Basin. This director or subconsultants shall be responsible to comply with any permitting requirements, and Licensee shall support such permitting and provide land access as necessary.
Habitat Improvements. Besides connecting people, this project connects high quality habitat along the river. As parks are developed over time north of the 26th Avenue Overlook, this section will eventually connect to the Upper Harbor Terminal site and North Mississippi Regional Park. Additionally, the site sits above contaminated fill soils, some of which have been pushed to the edges of the riverbanks to create more flat, usable space. Those riverbanks are steep and not sustainable long term, especially adjacent to a regional trail. These steep slopes are flattened in the proposed project to create less-steep slopes on which a new prairie planting can be placed.
