Common use of Handling of Mail Clause in Contracts

Handling of Mail. Except as required to comply with the Act or FCC rules and policies, including those regarding the maintenance of the public inspection file (which shall at all times remain the responsibility of the Permittee), the Permittee shall not be required to receive or handle mail, faxes, or telephone messages in connection with programming provided by Manager unless the Permittee, at the request of Manager, has agreed in writing to do so. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, Manager shall provide the Permittee with copies of any mail, fax, or telephone message concerning the programming furnished or arranged by Manager under this Agreement to permit Permittee to place copies thereof in the Station's public inspection file if required by applicable law, rule, or policy.
