Hauling Reference Price. The Office of Transportation Maintenance will establish a rate each year for municipal hauling of abrasives or other snow and ice control materials for those municipalities electing to haul materials from their own production points or from commercial sources. The State will reimburse proportionate to usage at the established rate per ton mile or at actual municipal cost per ton mile, whichever is lower. Reimbursement for the cost of hauling material from central municipal mixing locations to satellite stockpiles may also be claimed.
