Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, substance, material, or waste, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effect.

Hazardous Substance. a substance that is defined under an Environmental Law as hazardous waste, Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, substance, hazardous material, or waste, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactivepollutant, contaminant, petroleum, petroleum product, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectoil.

Hazardous Substance. Hazardous Substance" shall mean Substance means any chemicalsubstance that is regulated by any local government, substancethe State of Colorado, materialthe United States government, or any agency, authority and/or instrumentality thereof and includes any and all materials or substances that are defined as "hazardous waste", including without limitation "extremely hazardous waste", or a "hazardous substance" pursuant to any Environmental Law. Hazardous Substance includes but is not restricted to petroleum and petroleum byproducts, asbestos, PCBs explosives, polychlorinated biphenyls ("PCBs") and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectinfectious waste.

Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, Any substance, materialmaterial or waste defined as a pollutant or contaminant, or as a hazardous, toxic or dangerous substance, material or waste, including under any applicable federal, state or local laws, ordinances or regulations now or hereafter enacted or amended, including, without limitation asbestoslimitation, petroleum, petroleum products, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectasbestos.

Hazardous Substance. The term “Hazardous Substance" shall mean Substances” means any waste, chemical, material or substance that is listed or regulated, whether presently or in the future, under Environmental Laws as a “hazardous” or “toxic” substance, material, material or waste, or as a “contaminant,” or is otherwise listed or regulated under Environmental Laws (irrespective of whether it is listed as a “hazardous” or “toxic” substance, material or waste or as a “contaminant”), including without limitation asbestos, PCBs Solid Waste and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effectmunicipal wastes.

Hourly Employees. As defined in effectSection 11.1(a).
