Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. The term “Hazardous Substance” shall mean any hazardous or toxic substances, materials or wastes, or pollutants or contaminants as defined, listed or regulated by any Environmental Law or by common law decision including, without limitation, chlorinated solvents; petroleum products or by products; asbestos; and polychlorinated biphenyl.

Hazardous Substance. The term “Hazardous Substance” shall mean means any pollutant, contaminant, toxic substance, hazardous waste, hazardous material, hazardous substance, petroleum or toxic substancespetroleum product, materials asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, underground or wastes, or pollutants or contaminants as defined, listed or regulated by any Environmental Law or by common law decision aboveground storage tanks and the contents thereof including, without limitation, chlorinated solvents; petroleum products any such materials defined in or by products; asbestos; and polychlorinated biphenylregulated pursuant to any Environmental Law.

Hazardous Substance. The term “Hazardous Substance” shall mean any substance or material defined or designated as a hazardous waste, toxic substance, solid waste or toxic substances, materials other pollutant or wastes, or pollutants or contaminants as defined, listed or regulated by contaminant under any Environmental Law or by common law decision including, without limitation, chlorinated solvents; petroleum products or by products; asbestos; and polychlorinated biphenylLaws.
