Common use of HOLD HARMLESS/INDEMNIFICATION Clause in Contracts

HOLD HARMLESS/INDEMNIFICATION. Subject to the limitations of §768.28, Florida Statutes, the District agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Contractor from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, damages, or causes of action arising out of the negligent acts of the District arising out of or in connection with the provisions of the Agreement. Contractor agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the District from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, damages, or causes of action arising out of the negligent acts of Contractor arising out of or in connection with the provisions of the Agreement.

HOLD HARMLESS/INDEMNIFICATION. Contractor agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the District from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, damages, or causes of action arising out of the negligent acts of Contractor arising out of or in connection with the provisions of this Agreement. Except as otherwise provided by Florida Law, neither the Agreementexecution of this Agreement by the District nor any other conduct, action or inaction of any District representative relating to the Agreement is a waiver of sovereign immunity by the District.
