HOLDING OF FOREIGN ASSETS WITH PERMISSIBLE FOREIGN CUSTODIANS. Subject to the requirements of Sections 17(f) and 26(a) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended (and any other applicable law or order), the Custodian may place and maintain Foreign Assets in the care of any Permissible Foreign Custodian. Article 3 (other than the definitions in Section 3.1) of this Contract shall not apply to placement of Foreign Assets by the Custodian with a Permissible Custodian.
