Common use of Holding Over by the Lessee Clause in Contracts

Holding Over by the Lessee. The Lessee shall not use or remain in possession of the Premises after the termination hereof. Any holding over, or continued use or occupancy by the Lessee after the termination hereof, without the written consent of the Lessor, shall not constitute a tenant-at-will interest in behalf of the Lessee, but the Lessee shall become a tenant-at-sufferance and liable for Rent and all other expenses, obligations, and payments in effect for the immediately preceding year of the Term. There shall be no renewal whatsoever hereof by operation of law.β€Œ
