HOME BASED BUSINESS Clause Samples

A home-based-business clause defines the rules and limitations for operating a business from a residential property. Typically, this clause outlines what types of business activities are permitted, any restrictions on signage, customer visits, or use of shared facilities, and may require compliance with local zoning laws or homeowners' association policies. Its core function is to balance the homeowner's ability to conduct business from home with the need to maintain the residential character and harmony of the neighborhood.
